Dalton churches announce Ash Wednesday observances with multiple services. Grace Episcopal Church holds 7 am and 5 45 pm Eucharist and penitential office. Legionnaires Reach 514 Members In Dalton Drive
The American Legion Post 155 membership drive led by Herbert Brooks surpassed 500, reaching 514 total members. New inductees include Eugene Farmer John R Brewer Patrick J Taylor John P Higgins Richard P Mears Augustus J Schnapp Jr Robert B Kendall Ronald R Scott Ronald Horsman and Wilton Jarry. A display on American flags for the minischool at First Congregational Church was approved. The birth day parity is set for March 14 at the Legion home with Four-Fifths Orchestra from 9 until midnight. Golden Agers meet Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Community House. Donald L Horsman of 420 Grange Hall Road will present slides and members plan the anniversary dinner.
