Colors Hendricks Completes Course at Fort Belvoir
Army Pvt. Evan L. Hendricks, 18, son of Mr and Mrs Bartlett Hendricks of 88 Fort Hill Ave, finished a nine week map compiling course at Engineer School Ft Belvoir Va. He learned to interpret aerial photos and to draft and revise maps using drafting tools. Hendricks joined last June, trained at Ft Dix NJ, and is a 1960 Pittsfield High School graduate. Philip E Plouffe Promoted to Photographer's Mate Third Class and assigned to the District Public Information Office Boston. he reenlisted for six years and will attend Pensacola's eight month advanced Photography school in January. He left Pittsfield High in 1957 and is married with two children living in Quincy.
