Residents protest spot rezoning near Berkshire Aviation
Mrs George Osgood of Seekonk Crossroad has sent a letter to Great Barrington officials protesting a spot rezoning move to allow a light manufacturing business on adjacent Berkshire Aviation Enterprises Inc property near the town’s airstrip. Walter Koladza, airport manager, cites interest but declines to name the business. Local residents oppose due to the residential neighborhood and existing undeveloped areas zoned for industry. The Selectmen, Planning Board, and Board of Appeals will hear the letter at tonight’s 7:30 Town Hall meeting.
