They toured the San Pedro valley, praised its soil climate and water, and plan to return after evaluating land offerings. Desert Walker Rescued After Days on Pantano Desert
Wright Walker former Benson skating rink manager and actor wandered near Pantano for days without water or food. Rescued by John Purifoy and sherriff officers, he was taken to Tucson for treatment.
