Arrangements are complete for a big concert and program dance at Rink Hall on Thanksgiving night. Benson Union High School to Open Monday
The Benson Union High School district announces the fall term starts Monday September 1 with new science equipment expanded courses in classical literary agricultural and home economics and a reorganized manual training and domestic science department. Faculty includes H Q Robertson principal and M M S McKoween English and more. The Benson Grammar School also opens Monday with KE Bunch principal and a plan to allow higher grade pupils to join domestic science and manual training classes. At the Tombstone convention of the Cochise County Cattlemen’s Association on Monday, W. J. Bennett of Benson moved to hold the next semi annual meeting in Benson on the first Monday in March. The Tombstone meeting was praised for its success and Benson is promised a gala welcome. Resolutions praised forest supervisors and grazing stock handling in rational forests.
