Cream Station for Benson A Certainty
J. A. Gumm and Mrs. Gumm were in Willcox to finalize a cream shipping station at Benson with shipments every other day at 35 cents per hundred pounds. They expect 150 dairy cows in the valley within a year, plan silos, and have machinery for the creamery with a buttermaker arriving next Monday to oversee erection. High mass is set for 9 A.M. Sunday followed by English and Spanish Sunday schools, Rosary, benediction, and later All Saints and All Souls observances with special papal privileges.

Death of Ed Dunbar at Tempe on the 23rd instigates mourning for a Tres Alamos rancher with a wife, several children, two brothers, and a sister. He owned half the old Tres Alamos homestead with L. M. Ball of Douglas. the farm once stood as the San Pedro valley’s premier land. Teachers hosted a grammar school celebration with a wienie bake on the mesa and a bonfire attended by local families and Prof. Bunch. Allyn Wheeler, son of the sheriff, dies in Los Angeles and is buried in Tombstone with a large crowd.

Halloween Party at Auditorium Delights Faculty and Students
Last night at the Auditorium a Halloween party brought together high and grammar school faculties, families, and students. The event featured decorations, middy blouses, peanut races, fortune telling, and refreshments as Freshmen were initiated. Rev. George Purves stayed to greet visiting relatives Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Dickey, while A. F. Biler began work as a bank clerk in Benson.
