Westward Emigration Plan to Boost Preparedness and Growth
A call argues to settle unappropriated public lands in the West, especially Arizona, by granting 160 acres to veterans who live on and improve it. The plan links grazing and homestead bills toReduced taxes, land surveys, town and road building, irrigation, and Western state development. It envisions veteran-led settlement easing national strain and expanding markets.
