State Rangers May Be Revived In Arizona Bootleg War
Two bills in the Arizona legislature aim to raise bootlegging penalties to felonies and to revive the state ranger force. The article recalls the historic Rangers who made 4000 arrests in six years, broke outlaw bands, and deterred bootleggers as former Lt Wheeler and Capt Mossman were noted for bravery and swift action.
