Canning Season Opens as Hopewell Valley Company Declares Dividend
The Hopewell Valley Canning Company held its stockholders meeting at Columbia Hall and reported a profitable year with new machinery purchases. A 12 percent dividend on capital stock was declared and tomato delivery price set at $12 per ton for 1917.
