A five member planning committee was chosen to organize finance, sports, parade, dance, barbecue, and other details with many sub committees and local figures named.

Foreman Burruss and team join Dance between Tucson and Nogales. Lordsburg to El Paso line work uses railroad posts. Moss drug store opens Monday with T R Thorpe as manager and a modern stock, large soda fountain and near completion fixtures though some stock and fittings remain. Final opening day slated for about the 27th.

Remains Identified of Walter Fortune Near Patagonia

Nogales reports the identified remains of Walter Fortune were found about eleven miles below Patagonia and brought to the sheriff. Fortune disappeared during the Sonoita floods a year earlier, with speculation he drowned or left the country. Shoes and skull features aided identification. Mrs. Fortune confirmed the match and arranged for interment.
