Man Kills Cinnamon Bear After Tense Chase Near Bisbee
Cecil Martin, after a cinnamon bear tore his pants and treed him in the Huachuca mountains, returned the next day to shoot the bear and two cubs. The hunt occurred within miles of Ramsey Canyon a popular summer resort where many families gather. Martin was chasing stray burros when he first spotted the bear and drove off the animal with his pistol. His dog, believed dead, returned home Sunday night.
