Deputy Sheriff Catches Bootleggers in Morning Chase
Deputy W J Bennett with J W Dixon and T W Flower captured two bootleggers Tuesday morning after one ran out of gas and the other hid liquor. Bennett trailed a suspicious gasoline buyer who abandoned his car, then Flower and Dixon intercepted a second vehicle with a large quantity of booze. The owner of that car was later arrested.
