Death of Old Pioneer Lands in Prescott Home
A telegram from H W Etz announces the death of Lewis Land at the Pioneers' Home in Prescott. He was 92, lived in the valley 30 years, born 1824 in Lancaster Co Penn. A former sailor and Argonaut, he resided with friends in Benson for two years and had no near relatives. Burial was at the Pioneers' Home.

H C Kimball of Willcox returned Monday from Toledo Ohio where the Overland Dealers' Convention was held. He describes twenty seven special trains bringing about 5000 men to the Overland factory from December 4 to 8 with banquets minstrels and picture shows.
