Bank of Benson Changes Hands in Benson
A. G. Smith of Los Angeles has acquired all stock in the Bank of Benson from Doane Merrill S. Roemer and H. P. Merrill. The deal closes at end of May with Merrill remaining briefly to assist the transition. Smith plans to expand deposits and loans to cattlemen farmers and business owners. Mrs. Smith will join him in Benson.
