The primary association held a delightful social last Friday with a children's program that pleased parents. Local families visited one another, and the Relief Society met at Mrs. Ida Anderson's home. Miramonte School children enjoyed a hike to the Whetstone mountains with Miss Bearl Naegle, then a hearty meal. Mrs. Mitchell, who went to Idaho for her husband’s funeral, is seriously ill with heart disease.

Presbytery Meeting in Southern Arizona Delegates Elected
The Presbytery of Southern Arizona with about fifteen delegates met in a Presbyterian Church meeting Tuesday night. Retiring moderator Rev. Evans of Lowell gave an address to a well filled audience. Rev. H C Cory of Webb and Rev. C S Rodriguez of Morenci spoke, reporting healthy church affairs. Delegates W S Brewer of Douglas and H G Brown of Benson were chosen for the General Assembly in Dallas in May. Attendees hailed from Bisbee Douglas Lowell Globe Morenci Clifton and other towns. Mrs Doane Merrill sang The Messiah and Mrs J F Graham offered a classical selection.

Fire destroys home of Mrs Nellie M Griessback near St David
A house near St David owned by Mrs Nellie M Griessback burned early Monday morning leaving occupants with a narrow escape. The residence and all contents were destroyed except two trunks. Insurance totaled 2000 with company represented by H P Merrill of Benson who will adjust the loss.
