Blackhawk Railway Historical Society forms in Aurora
The new Blackhawk Railway Historical Society formed in March studies Aurora's rail and trolley past. It collaborates with Fox River Valley Park District on restoring a Batavia depot and seeks photos, books, and railroadiana for a planned archives and museum at Pioneer Park. Members meet at LaSalle Street Community Center with open meetings on August 6 and October 1.
