President Ford in Washington at the IMF World Bank meeting warns inflation abroad is intolerable and pledges US policy detail from William Simon. He urges cooperation not isolation, trade not protectionism, price stability and growth, calling for a shared effort with other nations to tackle worldwide economic ills and energy use.
