Naval Academy counseling aid extends from Wells real estate firm
Armed Services Commander Walter A Hersom of Manchester and a Naval Academy information officer completed a two week Annapolis briefing to counsel local youths. Training covered tank crew duties field radio map reading and maintenance. Army Private Walter Wilkinson 19 son of Leonard and Mrs. Wilkinson Route 2 Arlington was assigned to the 9th Medical Laboratory near Long Binh Vietnam.
