Massachusetts high court clears path for veteran’s preference appeal
The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruled the state veterans preference law allows Bellotti to appeal its constitutionality to the U.S. Supreme Court. The decision follows a lower court finding the law unconstitutional and comes after four women scored highly on civil service exams but were ranked below male veterans.
