Manchester Selectmen Hear State Plans On Route 7 To East Dorset
Manchester selectmen heard a motel owner claim the state highway plan favors extending U.S. 7 east of town to East Dorset, potentially bypassing Center Hill. He cited a high official as saying the Center Hill route is costly, with the department endorsing a direct eastward link and a Manchester exit south of town. The board agreed to meet an official and press for a unified local stance with business interests and residents.
