Cannon debuts with a fat private eye amid TV season rollout
Hollywood preview notes CBS TV's Cannon starring William Conard as a tough, middle aged, unglamorous private eye. The review finds the script cliché ridden and the characters lacking distinction outside Conard's professional presence. NBC's It's A Wacky World is praised for Mack Sennett style humor with Jacques Tati and Ellie Sommer, though some segments miss the mark.
