Sharon Ann Albowicz and Francis S. Stankevich Jr. wed Sept 5 at Immaculate Conception Church Hoosick Falls. Mayor Albowicz escorted the bride. 300 attended a reception at Old Byars House. The couple, both 1963 Spencer secretaries and graduates, will reside in Schenectady. guests traveled from multiple states and provinces.

Linda Anne McLenithan daughter of Mrs. John McLenithan and John William Pello son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pello Jr. married Sept. 5 at Sacred Heart Church. Rev. Lawrence McAuliffe officiated. Attendants wore Empire line gowns. After a trip to New Hampshire the couple will move to Kodiak Alaska. Out of town guests came from Washington D C Rhode Island Maryland New York and Vermont.

Coates of Cincinnati Ohio announce the engagement of their daughter Barbara Lee Coates to William Marble Hoyt son of Mr and Mrs Harrison R Hoyt of Dorset The couple plan a November 14 wedding at Wyoming Presbyterian Church Barbara is a Wyoming High School graduate and Bowling Green State University alum Hoyt attended Tilton School in Tilton New Hampshire and the University of Vermont where he belonged to Delta Psi.

The Defense Department reports about half of 32 million acres under military control are used for conservation and outdoor recreation. Visitor total on these lands for the year ending July 1 reached 1,443,580, up from 592,230 the prior year, the department said Thursday.

The bride wore a silk taffeta gown with Chantilly lace sleeves and a fur trimmed crown veil. her bouquet was white carnations and ivy with pink roses. Attendants included Miss Frances Magiiano maid of honor and Anthony Magiiano best man. After a church luncheon the couple left for a wedding trip and will reside in Hoosick after their return. The bride is a Hoosick Falls Central School graduate employed at John S Davison law offices. the groom is a U S Army veteran employed at the Ford plant in Green Island.
