Public hearing on state redemption center proposal
The Secretary of Environmental Conservation will hold a public hearing on a petition by Ralph G. Wright and area grocers to establish a consumer deposit redemption center. If approved, the center offers an alternate redemption method and would exempt participating grocers from otherwise required container redeemption duties.
