Big 11 Powerloop lights up Boston plant in New England rollout
The first plant of the Big 11 Powerloop is in service in Boston as part of a six state grid. By 1972 eleven plants will be online across New England, costing 1.5 billion dollars and funded by 19 investor owned utilities. The plan aims for 65 percent of future energy from these new plants and continued price declines for consumers.
