UVM to Add Allied Health Sciences Building Next Spring
The University of Vermont College of Medicine plans a $4.1 million, 70 000 square foot Allied Health Sciences Building. Start next spring with completion in two years. It will house Nursing and Allied Health programs, with first floor dental hygiene and radiologic technology, upper floors classrooms labs and a link to Given Building. State and federal funds cover the project.

Swiss Approve Longest Road Tunnel Through Gotthard
Bern Switzerland the government approved a 10 mile road tunnel through the Gotthard making the longest of its kind and linking central and southern Switzerland.
