Manchester DAR Chapter honors 1968 Good Citizen Miss Donna Tuttle guest of honor at Ormsby Chapter DAR guest day hosted by Mrs. Louis R. Soderberg on Taconic Road. Tuttle, with mother and grandmother, was introduced by Regent Mrs. G Murray Campbell. State officials spoke on DAR programs and Indian education scholarships. A public hearing tonight at 7 30 in Hoosick Falls Municipal Building will air pros and cons of a proposed five-property parking lot plan. The unanimously recommended project aims to raze buildings and convert the area into public parking at an estimated cost of 50000. Properties include the former theater and McEchron estate, William Andrick’s Church Street lot, sheds behind the theater owned by J Donald Smith, and five houses on Eldredge Avenue behind the firehouse. Lost Is Found in Hoosick Garden Tractor Theft
State police from Center Brunswick joined Windsor police in recovering a garden tractor a rake and a trailer stolen from Windsor Conn. Three Connecticut officers traced the items to Hoosick after questioning a man held there for larceny. Hoosick police learned the owner had bought the articles unknowingly.
