Weir Reynolds Pool Opens in Hoosick Falls Center
A year of fundraising and public support yields the Weir Reynolds Swimming Pool in Hoosick Falls. The $67,000 complex includes a main pool 75 by 45 feet, a 35 by 35 foot deep pool, a 35 by 35 foot beginner pool, and a wading area with spray fountain. Donors include Rev Mrs Edith Craig Reynolds and the estate of Harry N Weir. The facility, operated by William Gilchrest, serves town residents and students with lifeguards, snack bar staff, and bathhouse workers.
