Marines Replace Notorious Camp Pendleton Brig With Model Prison
The Camp Pendleton brig, once infamous for riots and corruption and studied by Congress, has been rebuilt into a 2.5 million dollar, climate controlled model facility. It features six wings, a central control hub, 24 hour CCTV, and a strong rehabilitation focus with daily schooling and work programs for nearly 350 inmates.
