Electronic transfer links Vermont banks to NEACH network
Vermont and six New Hampshire counties join the New England Automated Clearing House to enable electronic payroll deposits and bill payments. The optional system, overseen by NEACH with input from Vermont banks, reduces trips to the bank and improves security. It allows employees to receive pay via direct deposit and companies to use automatic bill payments, with control kept by account holders.
