Cameras Allowed in New Hampshire Courts
Concord New Hampshire cameras and broadcasting gear may be used in state Superior Courts starting January 1 with trial judge approval. The New Hampshire Supreme Court amended a Superior Court rule and publicized the change Tuesday. The ABA report urged that broadcasting be permitted if decorum and trial integrity remain intact. Judge Hugh Bownes, who bans gear on the court's top floors, indicated cameras could work without flashbulbs and distractions.
