Three North Adams youths escaped serious injury when their 1963 Datsun overturned on a Bennington town road. Peter Rowett, 16, suffered a shoulder strain and was treated at Putnam Memorial Hospital. Passengers Paul DeGrenier, 15, and Raymond Gagnon, 18, sustained bumps and bruises. Additional minor vehicle damage involved Francis Conroy, 56, of Pittsfield, Mass., and Leo Talback Sr., 36, of Glens Falls, N.Y., in a separate incident on Vermont Route 313. A third accident in Shaftsbury and a hit-and-run in Old Bennington were reported with minor damage and no serious injuries.
