Putney industry park rejected By LM. SUPER Brattleboro
Brattleboro District 1 Environmental Commission denied the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation a land use permit for an él-acre Putney Road site planned as an industrial park. The commission found the project would overburden Brattleboro water and sewage facilities and tied the decision to a bond issue needed to fund upgrades. The ruling cited potential water pollution and public health concerns, with no town meeting date set and outcome uncertain.
