Mountain Towns Bird Flock Visits Despite No Fire Permits
National Forest Fire Warden Charles Dearcopp of Searsburg has been notified by Albert Gottlieb, director of forests, that no fire permits are to be issued until Nov. 2 inclusive. Only one bluebird has been seen on our property during the last two years. It was, therefore, a delightful sight when a flock of about 15 stopped over Wednesday afternoon before continuing their flight.
