Judge rules receivership for Equinox not justified
Manchester Judge Robert W. Larrow denied Chemical Bank of New York’s bid to appoint a receiver for Equinox House Inc. Findings show owed debts around 1.38 million plus overdue water bills and imminent taxes and premiums. He noted repairs and demolitions by the mortgagee do not prove waste or imprudent management and that a receiver would not expedite tax or insurance actions or protect the security.
