TV Highlights and Art in a Mixed Bag of Visual Quirks
Judith Lowry, 86, tied to Mother Dexter in Phyllis series, set to wed in a forthcoming episode. Death at Lovehouse filmed in Harold Lloyd’s Beverly Hills mansion. critics note subtle artistry blending perception and pigment. Carolyn Hooke’s assemblages dazzle with odd machine parts while Bot zow’s wall disappearances vanish into abstraction. Ellen Sussman’s collages fuse flesh and bone in stark paper tableaux. Transition by Tana Hartman lures with a veiled, unsettling portrait.
