Symphony quintet to play Vermont State Brass Quintet
The Vermont State Symphony Brass Quintet, part of the Vermont State Symphony orchestra, will give a 45 minute concert Thursday afternoon October 8 at 1 45 in the Hoosick Falls Central School gym. The educational show for Grades 4 5 and 6 will be in the round and feature public school music instructors led by Luther Everly with George Wheeler Marlow Hall Richard Diehl and David Etyler.

Six Cars Damaged in Parking Lot Collision at Bar-B-Q Recreation
In Hoosick Falls New York six owners were identified after a chain crash in the Bar-B-Q Recreation parking lot on River Road last week. Names include Mrs Leo Surdan Mrs Edwin Maloney Mrs Carl Stevens Mrs Arthur Surdam Mrs Emma Baker and Mrs Gloria Martinez. The crash began when a Petersburg driver Andrew Prebble hit the rear of a station wagon driven by Mrs Albert DeLuca as she turned from the highway into the bowling alley lot.
