Meyer plans 1963 fruit and vegetable processing plant
Erwin W. Meyer of Southern Vermont Orchards reveals a 1963 plant project on Carpenter Hill Road to process apples for juice sauce and vinegar while expanding his 250 acre operation. The plan would employ 100 workers for several months and contract with local farms for crop shares.
