One-way bottle lobbyist warned on distorted ads
In Massachusetts a well funded group pushing for one way bottles faces EPA pressure to stop distorted advertising. EPA regional head McGlennon warned the committee to modify its claims about Vermont’s no deposit ban, saying the ads grossly misrepresent the EPA study and that a court action seems unlikely before the election. The group disputes the charge and has already appealed to the state attorney general.
