Brothers, 14 and 10, accused of killing real estate agent
Two brothers aged 14 and 10 are accused of fatally shooting Henry Thienfeldt, 65, a Valley Mills real estate agent, during a burglary in Springtown Texas. FTC acts to end vending monopoly
The Federal Trade Commission charged ARA Services Inc. with anti competitive practices in acquiring 98 vending machine firms and 12 magazine and paperback distributors. The FTC said ARA held about 16 percent of 1969 sales and 94 percent after a series of consolidations, threatening monopoly in on site vending and periodical distribution. A consent order would require selling the 98 firms and bar ARA from new vending or manual food service acquisitions for 20 years without FTC approval.
