New Hampshire Symphony Postpones Concert Over Funds
The New Hampshire Symphony postponed the second winter concert in Manchester due to lack of funds from the Commission on the Arts. A Keene concert will proceed with other funds, and tonight’s Manchester Institute of Arts and Sciences chamber program will be free to keep musicians active. Conductor James Bolle cited stalled federal grants, residency criteria, and CETA eligibility as major contract obstacles, with a February return hoped if funds are approved.
