Mt Anthony Union School Board authorized Superintendent Sleeman to seek state aid for a 4500 square foot special education building adjoining the proposed vocational facility and for a 2000 square foot cafeteria addition. No cost figures yet. state help hoped for. Financing may use bonds for non supported portions. The wo ed building is funded entirely by federal EDA money with bids to open for sewer and water work. Montreal students found safe after Jay Peak trek
Fourteen Montreal college students aged 16 to 20 who were overdue on a winter hike near Jay Peak in northern Vermont were located safe near a cabin on the Long Trail. They waved to a helicopter and were aided by a ground search led by Jamey Burwash, 19, amid heavy snow and difficult terrain.

School bus accident injuries North Bennington boy
