Morristown Corners police seek hunter after Peter Bosonworth, 24, was shot in an open field while walking home. He crawled through streams and brush for 11 hours in cold rain and snow before reaching a farmhouse and being taken to Copley Hospital in Morrisville in satisfactory condition with a gunshot wound to the right thigh. Bloodied, he described the attacker’s offer to return with help and the moment the resident asked what he was, saying “What are you, drunk?”

Apparent murder suicide in Brownell Hollow cabin
In White Creek New York a New York City man Jeffrey B Steinberg 31 and Oberlin Ohio woman Sarah Hendrix 35 were found dead in a Brownell Hollow cabin after Steinberg called for help claiming he shot Hendrix in the head with a .22 rifle. Hendrix died at the scene and Steinberg died two hours later at Albany Medical Center Hospital. The cabin belongs to Dr Howard Freed who is spending the year in San Francisco.
