Boston Strangler Albert DeSalvo Killed in Walpole Prison
Albert H. DeSalvo, the Boston Strangler who confessed to 13 mid 1960s killings, was found stabbed to death in his Walpole State Prison hospital cellblock. The 42 year old had been in general population and worked as an orderly. authorities have no suspects. The medical examiner said he died within about ten hours prior to discovery.
