Manchester Plan Seeks Equal Treatment for Mobile Homes
The Manchester Planning Commission amends its Comprehensive Plan to treat mobile homes as single family dwellings when on individual lots. Chairman Ferdinand Bongartz says the change signals no bias and aims to prevent zoning discrimination against trailers. The town already requires licenses for trailer parks under a 1969 ordinance, with fees and annual renewals, and does not limit park locations. Public hearings will continue to address mobile homes.
