Cambridge NY Mary McClellan Hospital plans to modernize its X Ray Department in the north wing with a new dark room and upgraded diagnostic equipment. A Hartford Foundation grant supports a motion picture fluoroscopy system and an image intensifier, plus two portable X ray machines to improve detail and efficiency.
More than 100 area youths enjoyed a record hop Friday night at the Pownal Fire House sponsored by the auxiliary. Frederick S. Allen announces that on September 30 control of The Allen National Bank of Fair Haven shifted to broader regional ownership. At a November 1 meeting the bank renamed to Ethan Allen National Bank and formed a new board including Lewis Aronowitz and Norman Storrs. Allen remains president and Storrs remains cashier. Directors aim to offer more banking services across Vermont.
