Surveyor 6 makes lunar hop and cameras Moonwalk
Pasadena news reports Surveyor 6 fired its rockets 80 feet sideways on the moonscape in a 2½ second burst. It rose about 10 feet, then settled and transmitted pictures of its footprints and surrounding area. Scientists anticipate stereo views with Surveyor 5 and 6 images to study lunar terrain.

Police Press Hunt for Robber
