Allied Warplanes Strike Back At Enemy Gunners in Cambodia
North Vietnamese gunners in Cambodia fired 68 rounds into the Bu Prang Green Beret camp as Allied jets and artillery returned fire. The clash, the 21st day of cross border bombardment, left light casualties though reports say 40 Green Berets and 90 tribesmen have died or been wounded overall. Col Vo Van Canh ordered further retaliatory strikes while noting they could continue as long as fire persisted from Cambodia.
