Shelburne Vermont report: industrialist Richard A. Snelling urged the state Republican Party to end purges from both conservative and liberal wings. In Sasebo and across 23 sites in Japan, about 28,000 people joined protests against the U.S. nuclear submarine Sea Dragon.
