In district court Judge Morrissey sentenced Henry Van Orman Jr. to a one year suspended term and probation for heroin possession. David Holton and several others pleaded guilty or were fined for petty larceny, drinking violations, driving offenses and probation violations. Obituary of Robert Burkett 72 Sacramento security guard
Robert Burkett 72 of Sacramento Calif died October 29 at Mercy Hospital Sacramento. Born in Trenton Tennessee he was a security guard for Kingsley. Survived by wife Lula six children including Mary Lauzon and Willie Mae Hoyt, three sisters 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes and burial in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
