High Court won't hear Watergate defendants

Bennington women form permanent group after conference
Nearly 200 area women gathered at North Bennington School to create a permanent Bennington women's group and pass resolutions to expand local opportunities. Workshops on health issues, personal power, and assertiveness drew about 50 participants each with several resolutions read for acceptance. Barbara Broadbent of North Bennington was chosen to represent Bennington County at a national women’s conference in Houston.
